Traditional Agencies Hold Massive DVR Burning
ATLANTA — Yesterday afternoon, flames engulfed a mountain of burning DVR boxes in downtown Atlanta. In an ultimate act of rebellion, traditional agencies took to the streets to protest the fact their TV spots are being skipped due to DVRs.
Traditional CCO, Paul Quaid, led the inferno and had this to say, “We work hard to make these spots. Long nights, no weekends. We pour our sweat and blood over making TV spots. I haven’t seen my family in a month! No one is thankful for commercials anymore. We deserve respect.”
When asked if he owns a DVR himself, Quaid responded, “Of course I do. But I don’t skip the commercials out of respect to my fellow ad peeps.”
The fire department quickly responded to extinguish the flames while the police arrived to extinguish the upheaval.
No arrests were made.
